Final Sale Items
In order to maintain quality and hygiene standards, some items are Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. Final Sale Items Include: panties, thongs, shapewear, swimwear, sale items, special offers, special orders, hosiery and adhesive products. We cannot accept returns or exchanges on these items. Please choose your size carefully when ordering these products and reference our Bra Sizing Guide with any questions that you may have. We also offer Fitting Assistance toll free at (800) 842-3990 M-F, 10-6PM.
Special Orders
SPECIAL ORDER is any merchandise that is pre-ordered for a season and not yet available from the designer, or any seasonal merchandise not stocked in the store, but available for purchase from the designer. It is our pleasure to provide our customers with the opportunity to place a special order if there is an item we are do not currently have in stock. Stock availability is subject to change with the designer and Bits of Lace is routinely updating the sites seasonally offered merchandise. Once we receive your special order item, stock availability will be confirmed with the designer and your credit card will be charged for those items. At that time, you will receive an email confirmation of your special order items and their approximate ship date.
Ordering in Quantities
If you have placed an order for 4 or more items with the same style number or size, we kindly request that you confirm your size with a bra fit specialist, as we will only accept up to 3 items to be returned with the same style or size combination.
Shipping
It is important to note that many of our items are imported products from international companies which sometimes require several weeks to receive.
Approximate shipping times are as follows: (see more shipping details)
7-14 days: In stock items (non-Special Order)
2-4 weeks: Special orders (most brands)
4-6 weeks: Bedhead and Chantelle

If it's been a while since you were fit, (or you're not sure if you were ever wearing the right size to begin with), you've come to the right place. Bits of Lace employs a team of bra fit specialists, highly experienced and specially trained by European lingerie manufacturers to find you the right fit and style.
It's important to keep in mind that seemingly small changes in your body can affect your bra size. Bits of Lace suggests being re-fit with any significant weight change, pregnancy/nursing, surgery, hormonal fluctuation, even a change in exercise routine. Our Bra Fit Specialists will not only size you correctly, but help you find the right style.
What's the easiest way for Bits of Lace Customer Service Team to answer your bra related questions?
First refer to your bra's style number. The style number is an alpha/numeric combination found on your bra's tag. Also remember when referring to your size, use the UK band size.
Finding Your Proper Bra Size
The Bits of Lace Ladies are committed to helping you look and feel your best, wherever you are in life. If you can't visit our store for a fitting, follow our guide for an accurate sizing.
You'll need a soft tape measure and your best fitting, unpadded bra.
To Determine Your Band Size:
For an accurate measurement, it is crucial that you have a flesh to rib cage measurement. To do this correctly, bend over slightly and locate where your breasts naturally fall away from your chest wall. Snugly wrap the tape measure around this part of your chest. This is your rib cage measurement.
If you measured an odd number we suggest you round up to an even number. ie: 31 = 32
To Determine Your Cup Size:
Put on your best fitting, most supportive bra. Stand with your elbows slightly out and wrap the tape measure across the fullest part of your breasts. This is your bust measurement.
Subtract your rib cage measurement from your bust measurement. The difference between the two measurements determines your cup size.
To Determine Your Bra Size:
Quick Tip for Smaller Busted Women: Be sure to take all measurements as accurately as possible. Even quarter inches make a significant difference in the comfort and fit of smaller cup sizes.
Bits of Lace bras come in UK/US band sizing and European cup sizing. You'll notice the only real difference is an American DD cup is a European E cup. European bra bands are measured in centimeters (cm), but UK sizes are measured in inches and always visible on tags.

* Special Order items may take 2-6 weeks and typically are not eligible for next-day delivery or 2-3 day shipments options. Your special ordered item(s) are shipped by Standard Ground the moment they are received from the manufacturer. You will be notified by email when it arrives and ships.
All Special Orders are Final Sale and Non-Refundable!
Within 24 hours of purchase, an order may be cancelled and a full refund issued. If this 24 hour period occurs during the weekend (Saturday and Sunday), then all cancellation requests will be handled on the following Monday with no penalty to the customer. However, beyond 24 hours of purchase, orders are not eligible for cancellation; the ordered item(s) will be processed, charged, packed, and shipped. After shipment, cancellation of an order falls under the stipulations of our returns and exchanges policy. To best serve you, all cancellation requests must be submitted via email to support@bitsoflace.com for documentation purposes.
