Small Breasts -- It's a Good Thing
The word small, if you think about it long enough seems to have a negative connotation attached to it. In the society that we live in no one wants a small anything. We've been taught, and are teaching, that anything small need to be big. Bigger is better so they say. Bigger homes, bigger cars, bigger bank accounts, and bigger plates of food; we are a society of Big! It is a psychological epidemic.
But why? Is anyone asking that simple question? Why is having an abundance of any one thing good for you? As a woman living under the influence of Western culture, it is, especially when it comes to the emphasis that is put on how big a woman's cup size is.
It's undeniable that women today are treated as sex objects in our society, and breasts are seem to be the one of the main topics of discussion.
Having small breasts can affect your self-esteem especially when you have magazine articles and the media bombarding you with the fact that you must be at least a C cup in order to be attractive. Using Hollywood as an example, incredibly gorgeous actresses and other celebrities are giving in to societal pressures and going under the knife.
For those who have small breasts and sometimes get a little blue about it, here are just some of the good points:
- First, remember the point women have breasts: to nourish another human life! We not only have the ability to create and foster another human life but also the ability to nourish another life with our bodies. The physiology of the breast is really quite amazing!
- Gravity is kinder, or at least it appears to be. There certainly is less noticeable sagging. Remember all breasts will eventually sag -- it's a fact of life-- but it is less noticeable when you they are on the smaller side.
- Less Pain. Some women with very large chests experience a great deal of back pain because of all the extra weight their back is trying to support. Women with smaller breasts tend to be more physical, as there is not so much to get into the way.
- Some guys actually prefer small breasts - some people will say they're hard to come by, but they are out there! But remember, all that matters is how YOU feel about yourself.
So, you see, having small breasts can really be a good thing. Embrace them, love them and wear them proudly! It's difficult in a society where cup size is so important, but love yourself and know that you're perfect just the way you are!
