Bits of Lace Fine Lingerie supports the community in more ways than one! We proudly stand behind…
Charleston Center for Women – C4W
As a female-operated business, specializing in all things “women”, our partnership with the Charleston Center for Women is only natural. As a C4W member, the Bits of Lace team has the opportunity to connect with many amazing lowcountry ladies. The women of Charleston are a force to be reckoned with thanks to C4W’s presence in the community. If you are a fellow Center for Women member, be sure to introduce yourself.
Crisis Ministries in downtown Charleston provides “food, shelter and hope to end homelessness.” This amazing operation has helped millions of men, women and children get back on their feet. Each year, Bits of Lace supplies Crisis Ministries with bras and panties for women residing at the shelter. We are thrilled to support women in our community this way.
Darkness to Light
One in four girls will be sexually abused before her 18th birthday. The effects of sexual abuse effect the survivor for a lifetime. Our owner, Ruth Brennan made a donation to Darkness to Light’s scholarship fund in November 2011 to educate the community on prevention. Join us in supporting Darkness to Light’s movement to help girls (and boys!) grow up healthy, whole, happy and confident.
Bits of Lace is a longtime supporter of Debi’s Kids, a nonprofit that assists low country families with limited resources during the holiday season. Debi’s Kids ensures that over 5,000 local children have gifts to open by collecting new, unwrapped toys. Bits of Lace is a Debi’s Kids drop-off location during December and asks that our holiday and Men’s Night shoppers help us full our Debi’s Kids bin.
Girls Rock Charleston
When Customer Support Specialist Savannah Brennan isn’t being a total rock star at work, she’s helping girls find their inner rock star. As a founding member of Girls Rock Charleston, Savannah is a driving force behind creating an inspiring and unforgettable experience at a week-long music camp for young girls in Charleston. Bits of Lace sponsors a Girls Rock! camper’s tuition each year. And- you can catch the Bits of Lace team at nearly every Girls Rock fundraiser along the way…
The Hemangioma Foundation
The Hemangioma Foundation has a vision to improve the self image of children worldwide. This foundation provides treatment for children with hemangiomas who do not have access to healthcare. Bits of Lace donates to their annual fundraising event, Cowboy Couture each year.
King Street Merchant Group
King Street was recently named one of America’s Best Shopping Streets, and maybe we’re a little biased, but we could not agree more. Shopping along a street lined with palm trees and pastel buildings never gets old. We’ve got it all here: boutiques, bars, restaurants, candy shops, jewelery stores… If you can’t find it here, it probably doesn’t exist.
Lowcountry Local First (LLF)
Bits of Lace has been a lingerie shopping staple and bra fitting authority since 1976. We’re locally owned and operated and always have been. When shopping and eating, we make sure to spend our money with fellow LLF partners.
