Free The Girls, supporting a cause. 3

One of the most amazing things about being a woman is our heart. That’s why we are proud to announce on November 1st at 6pm Bits of Lace Fine Lingerie at 302 King Street will be hosting a bra drive for Free the Girls.

“Free the Girls” is a nonprofit that creates jobs for women that have been rescued from sex trafficking. By selling second hand clothing these women are able to start a business, go to school and provide for themselves and their families.

This is where you come in. November 1st, bring your gentle used bra to Bits of Lace and donate it! You will be sized and fitted for a new bra with a discount for donating your bra to Free the Girls. At the end of the night we will also donate a percentage of our proceeds to this very important cause.

So gather up your gentle used or unworn bras, some girlfriends and come support a great organization and get fitted by our bra fit specialist in a wonderful new bra while you are at it! Experience the feeling of giving and receiving during this special evening of women supporting women to” Free the Girls.”

I will not miss this event! With Thanksgiving around the corner I am thankful for what I have and giving back to the community of women such as “Free the Girls” could not be a better way to for me to show my support.

There is an urgency to Free the Girls that is ridiculous to ignore. Thank you Bits of Lace Fine Lingerie for bringing this international, cultural issue to the forefront, and for creating a local space for women of Charleston to act in making a positive impact. The spirit of women helping women is a beautiful thing. I cannot wait for the event on November 1st!
