Bra-Sizing Issues: Bands

It is so important that a band fits properly; it is the foundation of every bra. If the band is riding up in the back or the straps cut in, it is possible that your band is too big. A raised band in the back indicates that it does not fit snugly enough, resulting in drooping breasts and straps that are doing all the work, making them too tight. Straps that are too loose happen often, even on bras that fit properly. Just make sure to check them periodically for tautness and elasticity as they may stretch.  Bits of Lace recommends that you get sized for bras every year to ensure the best fit possible.
