For over 35 years, women from around the country have looked to Bits of Lace for their lingerie and bra shopping needs. It has been an honor to have women shop in our boutique that make positive impacts in our community. We wanted the opportunity to recognize these amazing women and share their stories with all of you.
Bits of Lace launched the GAL (Give A Lift) campaign where we strive to uplift women who uplift others. Each month we recognize a new woman who represents the boutique’s core beliefs. The Bits of Lace GAL is giving, innovative, intelligent and beautiful. During her month in the spotlight we feature her story on our blog, Facebook and twitter pages. She also receives a bra fitting, personalized shopping experience and a fun-filled photo shoot with our Bits of Lace mannequins, Bitsy and Lacey, who display her favorite bra and panty set

Dede Warren & B.V. Messervy
In honor of Mother’s Day and two fabulous women, we are proud to recognize our Bits of Lace May 2013 “Give A Lift” women as Dede Warren and B.V. Messervy. This local mother/daughter residential real estate team is truly a dynamic duo! Dede has been selling Lowcountry homes for 20 years and B.V. joined her 9 years go. They worked together planning B.V.’s wedding and realized what compatible partners they were. They are now in the top 1% of Charleston realtors and close 50+ transactions each year.
In addition to helping people find their dream homes, Dede and B.V. have a strong focus on giving back to the community. They are active with the Junior League of Charleston, Rotary Club of Mt. Pleasant, and Seacoast Church. Whether it’s chairing new fundraisers or wielding a hammer at a Habitat for Humanity house, these two love local charity work.
The bond between a mother and daughter is one of the most precious. Dede and B.V. feel very blessed to share this bond personally and professionally.
